Saving money is really important for my family lately. My husband and I have been struggling financially since his hours got cut last year. We’re grateful that he still has a job, but things have definitely been hard on us. We were used to living at a certain standard, and all of a sudden we had to give up things that we used to take for granted. I’ve been trying to find different ways to save and am trying to be as creative as possible. I don’t want our kids to feel like they are missing out on everything, so that takes work. I heard from a friend that New York Energy Rates work differently than they do in some other parts of the country and that I could shop around to find the best price for energy. I’m happy that I found this out because living in New York can get really pricey. We’ve been thinking about moving since things are so expensive here, but maybe now we will be able to stay if we can actually save a significant amount on our energy cost every month.
