                                                                    J. Omarr
Is the newest, in a growing number of young urban African-American Same Gender Loving authors to emerge in the wake of the success of E. Lynn Harris and James Earl Hardy. J. Omarr, a native of Newark, New Jersey, now residing in  Jersey City, is the eldest of three. A skilled and talented story teller that has now released his second urban gay novel, Justus, a sequel to his first published work, Masai.
Justus, is the story of young man's search for love through adversity in a  world of violence, sex and drugs. Though not a   typical black gay love story.
 J. Omarr in his own words:  I have come to realize there is a   need to show that there are other sides to my character. I       want to explore the different types of lores that are out there   and show them in a light other than heterosexual. I like being considered a pioneer in the field of erotica by removing the stigmatism or the definition of what erotic is...I want to show that any and everything is erotic given the right context and it doesn't question, challenge or change your masculinity or femininity...
